Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Leg Wax.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks depending on hair growth, hormones and aftercare. Regular waxing weakens follicles and can lengthen intervals over time. We recommend scheduling touch-ups when you notice initial stubble to maintain a sleek appearance.

Waxing can cause ingrown hairs if hair is curly or if proper technique and aftercare aren’t followed. Our estheticians use targeted methods and recommend exfoliation and moisturization to reduce ingrown hairs, plus guidance on when to seek treatment for persistent issues.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about quarter to half an inch long (roughly two to three weeks of growth). Avoid heavy lotions or recent self-tanning; exfoliate lightly a day or two before to aid hair removal and smooth results.

Sensitivity varies by person and area, but most clients describe brief, tolerable discomfort rather than intense pain. We use calming techniques, high-quality waxes, and post-wax care to minimize sensation. Topical numbing options available for especially sensitive clients by request.

We advise avoiding shaving between waxing appointments because shaving cuts hair at the surface and prevents the wax from gripping roots. If needed, trim very short hair carefully; otherwise wait until regrowth reaches roughly quarter-inch for optimal waxing results.

Certain conditions — active sunburn, recent chemical peels, open wounds, certain skin medications like retinoids, or recent laser treatments — may contraindicate waxing. Share medical history and topical products with us; we’ll advise whether Full Leg Wax is safe or recommend alternatives.
